How To Change Fuel Filter On Massey Ferguson Tractor

1. Park the tractor on a level surface, turn off the engine and engage the parking brake. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Locate the fuel filter. This is normally located near the fuel tank, or built into the fuel line.

3. Drain any fuel from the filter canister into a storage container.

4. Disconnect the fuel line from the filter. If the line is metal, loosen the banding clamp; if the line is flexible, pinch the line to loosen the clamp.

5. Remove the fuel filter from the mounting bracket.

6. Install the new filter using the existing mounting bracket. The new filter should point in the same direction as the old filter.

7. Connect the fuel line to the filter. If the line is metal, tighten the banding clamp; if the line is flexible, pinch the line to tighten the clamp.

8. Reconnect the negative battery cable.

9. Start the engine and check for leaks.
