How To Change Brakes On A Massey Ferguson 50

1. Raise the Massey Ferguson 50 and support securely with jack stands.
2. Remove the wheel nuts and the wheel that comes off and then remove the brake drum.
3. Inspect the brake shoes. If they are worn out they should be replaced.
4. Remove the brake assembly and examine it. Clean off any dirt and debris.
5. Disconnect the brake cable from the brake assembly and unscrew the brake piston.
6. Replace the hydraulic brake line, if necessary, then reinstall the piston and tighten it.
7. Reassemble the brake assembly and reconnect the brake cable.
8. Install the brake drum and new brake shoes onto the Massey Ferguson 50.
9. Install the wheel and the wheel nuts and torque them to specification.
10. Remove the jack stands and lower the Massey Ferguson 50.
