1. Ensure the generator has a three-phase output. The tractor model may require a three-phase system.
2. Check the voltage range of the generator. Match it with the voltage requirement of the tractor.
3. Buy an adapter or step-down transformer according to the voltage requirement of the tractor.
4. Make sure the tractor’s electrical system is operating correctly.
5. Disconnect the battery cable from the tractor, if necessary.
6. Arrange the cables so the generator is on the load side of the connection.
7. Connect the cables from the generator to the tractor according to the specifications supplied with the generator.
8. Start the generator and set the frequency to the same as the tractor.
9. Turn on the generator’s breaker and hold it in the ‘On’ position or press the reset button on the generator control box.
10. Start the tractor.
11. Check the operation of all electrical components on the tractor to make sure they are working properly.
