Diesel
1. Remove the oil filler cap and locate the bleed screw, typically located on the fuel lift pump.
2. Put a container under the bleed screw to catch any fuel that may come out.
3. Using an 8mm open-ended wrench, loosen the bleed screw 1/4 turn counter-clockwise.
4. Slowly rotate the engine by hand in a clockwise direction.
5. The fuel should start to trickle out of the bleed screw, at which point you can close the bleed screw.
6. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.
7. Check the oil level and top up if needed.
8. Add some engine solvent to the fuel tank and watch the smoke coming out of the exhaust.
9. Once all of the air bubbles are gone, the bleeding process is complete.
