Tractor
To breach the starter on a Massey Ferguson 135 tractor, you will need a ⅜ inch ratchet and extension, an Allen wrench set, and an adjustable wrench. Start by disconnecting the battery. Remove the starter cable from the positive battery terminal. Then, unbolt the starter from the engine using the ⅜ inch ratchet and extension. Remove the bolts securing the starter solenoid with the Allen wrench. Then, disconnect the mounting bracket from the starter. Remove the starter and disconnect the electrical wires from the rear of the starter. Remove the starter mounting bracket and clean it with a wire brush. Re-bolt the starter and the mounting bracket onto the engine. Connect the electrical wires to the starter and the solenoid, and reattach the starter cable to the positive battery terminal.
