Tractors
Wheel tilt, sometimes referred to as wheel slip, is an optional feature found on some Massey Ferguson 180 tractors. This feature allows the operator to tilt the wheel axles to the right or left depending on the soil conditions or terrain. By allowing the wheel axles to tilt, the tractor is able to move more efficiently on sloped land or when turning because it reduces the wheel contact with the ground. This can also help extend the life of the tractor’s drive system, as it puts less strain on the components.
