The oil fill on a Massey Ferguson 240 tractor is located at the lower, left side of the engine block, near the center of the tractor. A small, plastic cap will be visible. This cap should be unscrewed in order to access the oil fill and should be wiped clean before it is replaced. Once removed, a funnel or spout may be inserted into the opening in order to properly fill the oil. It is important to ensure the oil is filled to the correct level before replacing the cap.
