Massey Ferguson 1715 and Massey Ferguson 1720 are part of the same line of tractors from Massey Ferguson. Both models feature Category 1 3-point hitch, a 3-cylinder diesel engine and an open center system. Both models also feature a self-leveling loader with a 48-inch bucket.
Where the two tractors differ is in their power output. The Massey Ferguson 1715 has 15 horsepower, while the Massey Ferguson 1720 has 20 horsepower. The 1720 is also equipped with a 12F/12R hi-lo range transmission, while the 1715 is equipped with a 8F/8R standard transmission.
The Massey Ferguson 1720 also includes additional creature comforts, such as power steering, extra headlights, a deluxe suspension seat and cruise control. Both models have a maximum operating speed of 16 mph. The 1720 is also offered with a loader lift capacity of 1,400 kilograms, while the 1715 is only capable of lifting 1,170 kilograms.
