How Adjust Clutch On Massey Ferguson 20

1. Park the Massey Ferguson 20 on a level surface and turn off the engine. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the circlip from the flywheel fan blade then remove the fan blade from the flywheel.

3. Adjust the clutch linkage as follows:

a. Rotate the clutch pedal counterclockwise toward the floor until it is at its stop point.

b. Loosen the adjusting nut lock nut, then adjust the adjusting nut until clutch pedal free play is 0.375 to 0.500 inches (10 to 13 mm).

c. Tighten the adjusting nut locknut after setting the free play.

4. Install the flywheel fan blade, then install the circlip to the flywheel.

5. Connect the negative battery cable, then start the engine and verify the clutch operation.
