1. Shut off the engine and ensure that the baler is in neutral gear.
2. Release the spring-loaded tensioning arm on your Massey Ferguson round baler by pressing the release lever.
3. Pull the twine arm out to its maximum extension, and then backup the tensioning arm until it is fully backed off the twine arm.
4. Move the twine arm away from its original position and align it so that it is equidistant from each side of the bale chamber.
5. Pull the twine arm back to its maximum extension, and then move the tensioning arm inwards until the twine arm is firmly held in place.
6. Adjust the tensioning arm until it is tight enough that it holds the twine arm firmly in place, but not so tight that the twine arm can’t move up and down.
7. Turn the engine on and test the twine arm’s tensioning to make sure it is holding the twine correctly.
8. Turn off the engine and press the release lever to activate the spring-loaded tensioning arm.
