How To Change Fan Belt On 50E Massey Ferguson

1. Park the tractor on a level surface. Block the wheels to prevent it from rolling while you work on it.

2. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery to prevent electrical injuries or shorts.

3. Place a large bucket beneath the fan belt to catch any dripping fluid or dirt.

4. Unscrew the nuts from the mounting bracket on the fan side of the engine using a wrench.

5. Slide the fan belt off of the pulleys and remove it from the engine.

6. Install the new fan belt, making sure it fits properly on the pulleys.

7. Tighten the mounting bracket nuts securely and replace the battery cable.

8. Start the engine and check for proper belt tension and alignment.
