Harvester
The Massey Ferguson combine harvester was invented by brothers Ben and Dan Massey, the founders of the Massey Harris & Massey-Ferguson Ltd. in 1958. The company had been in the business of manufacturing agricultural equipment for over 100 years prior to introducing the combine harvester. The invention allowed farmers to cut grain crops with a single machine. It revolutionized farm work and particularly harvests, as it drastically increased the speed and efficiency of the harvesting process.
