The Massey Ferguson 1736 tractor is equipped with a Yanmar 3TNV76C diesel engine. This engine is a 3-cylinder, 760cc displacement engine capable of producing 33.9 horsepower at governed speed (3,200rpm). It has a number of features such as an overhead valve (OHV) design, Cast-Iron block construction and up to 10.5 liters of fuel tank capacity. The engine also features an electronic fuel injection system for increased fuel efficiency and performance. Additionally, the 3TNV76C has a 12-volt electrical system and a standard 2-stage clutch.
