When Did Massey Ferguson Stop Using Perkins Engines

Massey Ferguson stopped using Perkins Engines in the late 2000s. They had begun using them in the mid-1960s, and continued to be one of the major sources for these engines for over 40 years. In 2007, Massey Ferguson began phasing out Perkins engines in favor of more modern powertrains, and stopped using them completely by 2009. The last Massey Ferguson tractors equipped with Perkins engines were the 8450, 8560, 8735, 8737, 8740, 8745 and 8745 models.
