1.Locate the coupler and disconnect both hydraulic lines from it.
2.Remove the retaining clip or bolt from the coupling.
3.Use a flat-head screwdriver to pry the coupler off the hydraulic line.
4.Apply penetrating oil to the threads of the studs on the female coupler.
5.Use an adjustable wrench to loosen the nuts on the studs.
6.Remove the nuts and the studs from the female coupler.
7.Pull the female coupler off the hydraulic line.
