1. Remove the PTO shaft from the closing cap and remove the retaining clips.

2. Separate the shaft and the PTO housing.

3. Remove the old PTO seal with a socket and a rubber mallet.

4. Clean the PTO housing from any debris or old sealant.

5. Apply sealant all around the circumference of the new PTO seal.

6. Fit the new PTO seal into the PTO housing and use the rubber mallet to gently tap it into place.

7. Replace the retaining clips and align the PTO shaft.

8. Reattach the PTO shaft.

9. Check that the new PTO seal is properly in place and that there is no leakage.

2. Once the coolant is drained, remove the hoses connecting the radiator to the engine.

3. Using a wrench, unbolt the mounting brackets securing the radiator to the firewall.

4. Carefully lift the radiator out of the engine bay and set aside.

5. Clean the area where the radiator was mounted.

6. Place the new radiator into position in the engine bay and bolt it in place.

7. Reattach the hoses connecting the radiator to the engine.

8. Refill the radiator with coolant.

9. Start the engine and check for any leaks.

1. Drain the coolant by locating the drain plug and removing it. If there are no drains, you will need to remove the radiator to drain the coolant.

2. Remove the fan belt, fan and shroud.

3. Unbolt the water pump from the engine block and discard the gasket.

4. Clean the mounting surface of the engine block with a wire brush to remove all dirt and debris.

5. Coat the new gasket with a light coat of engine oil and install it, then mount the new water pump.

6. Reinstall the fan, belt, and shroud.

7. Refill the cooling system with fresh coolant.

8. Start the engine and check for leaks.

Finally, make sure to check the fluid levels, hoses, and radiator before operating the tractor.

2. Disconnect the brake line at the fitting at the rear of the caliper.

3. Take a wrench and remove the bolts that hold the caliper in place. If a piston seat is being replaced, remove the caliper by pulling it free from the mounts.

4. Replace the brake pads. Make sure that they are seated properly. Lube the new pads and caliper.

5. Place the caliper back into the mounts and secure it with the bolts.

6. Reconnect the brake line.

7. Bleed the brakes.

8. Replace the wheel and lower the Massey Ferguson.

9. Test drive the tractor to check the brakes.

2. Disconnect the hydraulic lines from the steering cylinder and then remove the cylinder from the bracket.

3. Install the new steering cylinder to the bracket and reconnect the hydraulic lines.

4. Reinstall the steering wheel, turning rods, and power valve to the tractor.

5. Check the steering system for proper operation and your Massey Ferguson 253 tractor is now ready for use.

Firstly, you need to put the tractor in neutral and block the wheels with chocks. Next, lift the PTO housing away from the tractor and place aside. Unplug the PTO shaft and remove the retaining bolt. Pull the PTO shaft out to expose the seal. With a metal punch, carefully drive the seal out. Clean all the surfaces with solvent. Now you can put a new seal in place and tap it in with a metal punch. Make sure the seal is seated, and then put the PTO shaft back in. Install the bolt and reassemble the PTO housing. Your Massey Ferguson 165 PTO seal is now replaced.

2. Prepare the new filter. Make sure the new filter is for the F20 Massey Ferguson.

3. Find the oil filter on the engine. It is typically located close to the oil pan.

4. Use an oil filter wrench to loosen the filter by turning it counter-clockwise.

5. Once the filter is removed, discard it and clean the area around the filter mount with a rag to remove any dirt or debris.

6. Place the new filter over the filter mount and thread it into place by turning it clockwise.

7. Use the oil filter wrench to tighten the filter until it is snug.

8. Replace the rubber o-ring around the filter mount and lubricate it with a bit of clean engine oil.

9. Finally, pour new engine oil into the oil reservoir and run the engine for a few minutes. Check the oil level and adjust as needed.

2. Remove the linkage from the clutch pedal and disconnect the clutch linkage from the clutch fork. Remove the clutch fork from the transmission.

3. Remove the nut from the pressure plate bolts and using a bolt extractor socket remove all of the pressure plate bolts.

4. Remove the diaphragm spring and remove the pressure plate and separate the flywheel from the clutch.

5. Clean the flywheel and flywheel housing surface and inspect for any damage.

6. Install the new clutch disc and the new pressure plate onto the flywheel. Tighten the bolts on the pressure plate evenly and ensure that they are all tightened to the same torque.

7. Reinstall the clutch fork and connect the linkage and linkage rods.

8. Check operation of the clutch pedal and adjust if needed.

9. Start the Massey Ferguson 50 engine and check for proper clutch operation.

2. Locate the lift valve on the Massey Ferguson 50, which is on the right side of the hydraulic pump. Place a container or an oil draining system under the pump to catch the hydraulic oil draining from the pump when you remove the valve.

3. Remove the retaining nut and washer from the valve with a wrench, then slide the lift valve out of the pump.

4. Install the new lift valve into the pump and replace the retaining nut and washer. Tighten the retaining nut firmly with a wrench.

5. Reconnect the negative battery cable with a wrench, then turn on the engine. Test the lift valve to ensure it is working properly and that the hydraulic pump is functioning as it should.

1. First, disconnect the hydraulic lines from the lift cylinder. Place a container under the connections to capture any hydraulic fluid that may leak out.

2. Remove the nuts that secure the lift arms to the lift cylinder using a wrench.

3. Carefully remove the lift cylinder from the tractor and set aside.

4. Carefully mount the new lift cylinder in the same manner as the old one. Secure the nuts on the lift arms with a wrench.

5. Reconnect the hydraulic lines and securely tighten the fittings.

6. Check for any leaks. If there are any, tighten the connections or replace the O-rings.

7. Fill the hydraulic tank with new hydraulic fluid.

8. Start the engine and test the lift cylinder to ensure it is working properly.

9. Once everything is working properly, you are finished with the repair.
