To adjust the brakes on a Massey Ferguson 35 tractor, first remove the tractor from the tractor shed by either pushing it out or driving it out. Second, park the tractor on a level surface and engage the handbrake. Third, jack up the front wheels of the tractor and support them on jack stands. Fourth, inspect the brakes for any damage or wear, replacing any damaged or worn parts if necessary. Fifth, loosen the adjusting nuts on the brake backing plate with an adjustable wrench. Sixth, turn the brake adjusters located at the back of the brake backing plate to adjust the brake dragging. Finally, re-tighten the adjusting nuts and lower the tractor off the jack stands.
