1. Begin by attaching the mower lift lever. To do this, place it in its slot on the mower deck, then secure it with the retaining bolt.
2. Next, secure the mower blades to the deck with the hardware provided.
3. Attach the drive pulley to the mower deck once the mower blades have been installed.
4. Attach the drive belt over the pulleys, and make sure that it is correctly tensioned.
5. Install the discharge chute to the rear of the mower, using the screws and washers that come with it.
6. Attach the attachment lever to the left side of the mower, and make sure it is securely fastened.
7. Support the attachment bracket by inserting a pin through the mounting holes in the bracket and into the corresponding holes in the mower deck.
8. Secure the mounting bracket for the attachment, then double check all of the hardware for tightness.
