1. Start the engine and run until it reaches its normal operating temperature.
2. Locate the fuel filter, which is usually located on the left side of the engine near the front of the engine compartment.
3. Disconnect the fuel line from the fuel filter.
4. Place a bowl or container under the disconnected fuel line.
5. Re-connect the fuel line to the fuel filter and start the engine.
6. Allow the fuel to flush into the bowl for a few minutes.
7. Disconnect the fuel line from the fuel filter.
8. Inspect the bowl for air bubbles or other contaminants in the fuel.
9. If air bubbles are present, repeat the process until they are no longer present.
10. Reconnect the fuel line to the fuel filter and then re-start the engine.
11. Inspect the fuel lines for leaks at all connection points.
12. If any are found, tighten or re-seal the associated connections.
