To change the sickle bar out of a Massey Ferguson 235, start by first removing the tractor’s side cover. Next, remove the nuts and mounting bolts that the unit rides on. Lift the unit out of the tractor. Once the sickle bar is out, lay it aside and replace it with a new one. Reinstall by lowering the new unit back into the tractor, replace the mounting bolts and nuts, and replace the side cover. Be sure to check all bolts before operating the tractor with the new sickle bar.
