1. Drain the coolant from the radiator by loosening the drain cock and allowing the fluid to run out into a suitable container.

2. Disconnect the battery cables from the terminals, ensuring you follow safe disconnection procedures.

3. Disconnect the lower radiator hose and the upper water outlet hose from the water pump with a wrench.

4. Unscrew and remove the four bolts that secure the water pump to the engine block using the appropriate socket or wrench.

5. Remove the old water pump from the engine block and discard it.

6. Place the new water pump into position on the engine block and hand-tighten the four bolts.

7. Tighten the four bolts with a socket or wrench to the specified torque.

8. Connect the lower radiator hose and the upper water outlet hose to the new water pump.

9. Refill the radiator with coolant and replace the radiator cap.

10. Reconnect the battery cables and ensure you follow safe reconnection procedures.

11. Start the engine and check for any leaks.
