1. Make sure that the tractor is in neutral and the parking brake is set.

2. Turn the key to the “on” position and engage the starter.

3. Push the clutch pedal all the way in.

4. Move the gearshift lever to the “1” position.

5. Press the accelerator lightly and slowly let out the clutch pedal until it reaches the friction point.

6. When the tractor starts to move, increase the engine speed slightly and then release the clutch pedal completely.

7. Change gears with the clutching technique, being careful not to over-rev the engine.

8. To stop the tractor, press the clutch pedal all the way in and apply the brakes gently.

9. Move the gearshift lever to “N” (neutral) and disengage the starter.

10. Set the parking brake and turn off the ignition.
