To engage the power take-off (PTO) on a Massey Ferguson 35 tractor, first make sure that the brakes are engaged and the tractor is in neutral. Then, locate the PTO lever and move the lever to the engaged position. If the lever doesn’t move, make sure the PTO is disengaged and then raise the engine RPM until it reaches 1200 RPM and the PTO will engage. Make sure to release the clutch slowly and always use extreme caution as the PTO can cause serious injury if mishandled.
