1. Start by familiarizing yourself with the controls of the Massey Ferguson 135 tractor, including the clutch, throttle, brakes, and other controls.
2. Make sure the tractor is in neutral, by checking the transmission lever.
3. Make sure the parking brakes are engaged.
4. Turn the engine switch to the “On” position.
5. Step on the clutch and then press the priming button until fuel is visible in the fuel filter glass.
6. Release the clutch and turn the engine to start.
7. Place the transmission in the desired gear (1, 2, 3, or reverse.)
8. Control the speed of the tractor using the throttle.
9. Control the direction of the machine using the steering wheel.
10. Apply the brakes to come to a complete stop.
11. When finished, put the transmission in neutral and turn off the engine switch.
