How To Operate Massey Ferguson 65 Tractor Three Point

Hitch

1. Make sure the 3-point arms are lowered to their lowest level and the stabilizers are resting on the ground.

2. Connect the three-point hitch’s arms to the tractor’s arms with the quick-connect pins and then secure them with a locking pin.

3. Move the control lever to the middle (or neutral) position and make sure that the lift arms are completely raised.

4. Increase the engine speed and then raise the lift arms until the desired height is reached (and for most implements, the lift arms should be raised until the top link is at the same level as the bottom part of the 3-point hitch).

5. Apply brakes to the tractor and make sure the clutch is engaged before moving the three-point hitch arms to the correct position.

6. With the clutch engaged and the brakes applied, pull back on the lift lever and move the 3-point hitch arms until they are close to the desired position.

7. Release the lift lever and make sure the implement is at the correct height. Check to make sure the top link is properly attached and secure.

8. Engage the brakes and release the clutch. At this point, you are ready to start operating your Massey Ferguson 65 Tractor with its three-point hitch.
