To remove the hood on a 231S Massey Ferguson, start by unscrewing the two hood bolts on each side of the grille inserts. Next, unclip the wiring harness from the grille edge and carefully pull the hood up and towards yourself, removing it from the tractor. If it is stuck, you may need to remove the air filter cover and filter to gain more access to the hood bolts. Finally, reinstall the wiring harness and hood bolts to secure the hood.
