1. Sit on the tractor and make sure the gear shift is in neutral.
2. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it clockwise until it reaches the “ON” position.
3. Check the fuel gauge to make sure that you have enough fuel to start the tractor.
4. Push the choke lever up, if it is a cold start.
5. Push the starter button or key to energize the ignition system and spin the starter.
6. Once the engine is running and has been warmed up, push the choke lever down.
7. Release the parking brake and shift the transmission lever into gear.
8. Finally, slowly press the throttle to advance the speed control to the desired speed.
