To test the Massey Ferguson To35 power steering pressure, there are three steps you must follow:
1. Start the engine and let it idle.
2. Raise the engine RPM to 1500.
3. Place a pressure gage onto the power steering pressure port. This will be located near the power steering pump. The pressure should rise quickly and reach a peak pressure of approximately 1800 PSI.
If the pressure is lower than 800 PSI, then the pump pressure needs to be adjusted. If the pressure is greater than 1800 PSI, then the pump needs to be serviced.
If the pressure is within the desired range, then the power steering system is in good working condition.
