The tractor was a two-wheel drive, with an available high-clearance three-point hitch. It featured a three-cylinder Perkins diesel engine and had a choice of row-crop or smooth tires. The Massey Ferguson 235 also featured a customizable array of controls, levers, and hydraulics.
