The Massey Ferguson 135 model was first introduced in 1964, and it underwent several changes over the years due to advances in technology and consumer demands. One of the most noticeable changes was the transition from a rounded to a squared-off front fender style in 1968. This style change was part of the march towards a more contemporary look for tractors in the early- to mid-1970s. The fender style remained largely unchanged until the early 2000s, when Massey Ferguson introduced the global tractor platform and redesigned the 135 model – this new version featured a sleeker, more aerodynamic fender design.
