When Were Massey-Ferguson 135 Tractors Built

Massey-Ferguson 135 tractors were originally built between 1964 and 1975. They were available in both diesel and gasoline models and produced in the US, Mexico, United Kingdom, and other countries around the world. The 135 model was part of the Massey-Ferguson 100 series which also included models such as the 100, 135, 150, 165, 175, 180, and 230.

The Massey-Ferguson 135 was successful and reliable which made it one of the company’s best-selling models, with over 1 million units sold over its production run. The tractor was powered by a three-cylinder, Perkins A3.152 diesel engine producing 50 hp and had a transmission with 6 forward and 2 reverse gears. It also had a dual-clutch and live-drive system that improved power delivery to the tractors’ rear-wheels.

The tractor was popular with farmers, allowing them to take on more farming read with power transmission, as well as increased manoeuvrability due to its 8-speed transmission and 4-wheel-drive option. Over its production, the Massey-Ferguson 135 was upgraded several times and could be found with optional features such as cab and air-conditioning, front and rear hydraulics, and various attachments and implements.

Today, the Massey-Ferguson 135 is still a popular model with many enthusiasts still restoring and using them.
