Adding hydraulic fluid to a Massey Ferguson 165 tractor is a fairly simple process.
1. Start by locating the hydraulic fluid reservoir, which is near the base of the steering wheel on most Massey Ferguson 165 models. The reservoir should be labeled as such.
2. Use a suction pump or a handheld electric pump to add the hydraulic fluid to the reservoir. Make sure to use fluid that is specifically designed for use in a Massey Ferguson 165.
3. Remove the oil filling plug from the reservoir and insert the pump. Pump the hydraulic fluid until it reaches the full line on the reservoir.
4. Replace the oil filling plug and securely fasten it.
5. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes. This will allow the hydraulic fluid to circulate and get to any areas that may have air pockets.
6. Check the oil level again and make sure it is at the full line. If not, add more fluid until it is.
7. Turn off the engine and you are finished. Your Massey Ferguson 165 is now properly filled with hydraulic fluid.
