1. Starting up: Start the tractor and adjust the cabin to the correct seating position. On the left side of the off-set steering disc, look for the draft control lever. Make sure it is in the neutral position.
2. Engaging the Draft Control: Slide the draft control lever forward while releasing the clutch. This will engage the draft control and a hydraulic cylinder inside the transmission will move the draft link to an appropriate depth.
3. Adjusting the Draft: Depending on the soil surface and soil type, adjust the draft control lever to increase or decrease the depth. Moving the lever forward will deepen the draft, while raising the lever will reduce the draft.
4. Working at Different Depths: To work at a multiple levels in the same field, adjust the draft control lever to the desired depth. To switch to a different depth, pull back on the draft control lever until the hydraulic cylinder completely disengages and then adjust the lever to the desired depth again.
5. Shutting off the Draft Control: When done, move the draft control lever to the neutral position. This will disengage the draft control and stop the draft link from adjusting.
