Tractors
The type of oil to use in Massey Ferguson tractors depends on the model, year, and oil capacity of the tractor. Generally speaking, Massey Ferguson recommends using 15W-30 oil in all their tractors. This oil should meet or exceed the American Petroleum Institute (API) service class SG or higher. It is also recommended to use a multi-viscosity oil if temperatures in the area fluctuate greatly throughout the year. If a multi-viscosity oil is used, it should have a viscosity rating of SF/CC or higher. For extreme temperature changes of +20°F (-7°C) or below and/or above, Massey Ferguson recommends the use of 5W-30 oil.
