How To Remove Rear Bearing Massey Ferguson Tractor

If your Massey Ferguson tractor is equipped with a rear bearing, then you will need to remove the bearing in order to properly maintain the tractor. To do this, you will need to first raise the rear of the tractor to access the bearing. Once the rear of the tractor is off the ground, you will need to locate the bearing. Depending on the model, the bearing will be held on by a series of bolts, a bearing cap, and a bearing plate. Once you can access the bearing, use a wrench to loosen and remove the bolts that hold the bearing in place. Once all of the bolts are removed, carefully remove the bearing and the bearing plate. Clean the surface where the bearing was mounted and inspect for any wear or damage. If the bearing is damaged, then it will need to be replaced. Once the bearing has been removed, you can clean and inspect it for any sign of damage. If no damage is found, then the bearing can be reinstalled.
