How To Replace Clutch In Massey Ferguson 50

1. Park the Massey Ferguson 50 in a level area and block the wheels to prevent rolling.

2. Remove the linkage from the clutch pedal and disconnect the clutch linkage from the clutch fork. Remove the clutch fork from the transmission.

3. Remove the nut from the pressure plate bolts and using a bolt extractor socket remove all of the pressure plate bolts.

4. Remove the diaphragm spring and remove the pressure plate and separate the flywheel from the clutch.

5. Clean the flywheel and flywheel housing surface and inspect for any damage.

6. Install the new clutch disc and the new pressure plate onto the flywheel. Tighten the bolts on the pressure plate evenly and ensure that they are all tightened to the same torque.

7. Reinstall the clutch fork and connect the linkage and linkage rods.

8. Check operation of the clutch pedal and adjust if needed.

9. Start the Massey Ferguson 50 engine and check for proper clutch operation.
