<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">A Massey Ferguson tractor is available in gasoline and diesel-powered engines. For diesel engines, the injector pump helps push the fuel to the engine and maintains the correct pressure. Pump failure will result in incorrect fuel levels. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">To correct this kind of problem, the injector pump should be unplugged and replaced. When properly done, replacing fuel injectors will only take 30 to 45 minutes. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">First, lift the front of the tractor using a jack and place the vehicle on a jack stand. Find the injector pump. This is usually located along the driver-side frame rail. Remove the cover of the drain valve located at the bottom of the water separator or filter along the engine bay. Use your hands to reduce the fuel pressure. Remove the harness that runs to the injector pump. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Remove the easy-disconnect clips that move through the injector pump using your hands. Take the brake lines off the clip along with the injector pump. Remove the injector pump bolt from its frame. Use a 3/8 ratchet and socket to remove the bolts. Remove the pump from the frame and the frame bucket.  Once the old fuel injector is out, you may now replace this with a new one. </span></p>
